The business has enjoyed and endured over the years. Is seen periods of expansion and recession. Its seen upswings and downturns. Its seen periods of economic prosperity and recession and has survived down the generations due to the loyalty of our customers and our company culture.
In 2007, Recognising the emphasis on Global Warming and importance of Renewable Energy and Insulation in the future of home building, Liam and Padraic Glynn opened Ireland’s First Retail Energy Centre in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. Celebrity architect, Duncan Stewart preformed the ribbon cutting.
We also operate a Warehousing and Distribution division glynnstransport. We have just rebranded the Milltown store as in early 2023.
We recently joined an Agri Buying group called Associated Trading Co-operatives (ATC). It has two brands with about 40 of the smaller co-op stores and with over 20 independent stores like ourselves.
