Managing Director: Ricky Walsh
As the Managing Director of Walsh Group, Ricky Walsh oversees a collection of companies situated in the Cork Docklands. An innovative force in Financial Investment and Development, Walsh Group has evolved under Ricky’s leadership.
Ricky’s professional journey commenced with ARUP Engineering before joining Standard Life in 1983. Having achieved the position of Assistant General Manager, he founded RJ Walsh Consulting Ltd, now part of the larger Walsh Group, in 1999.
Despite the depth and diversity of Ricky’s business ventures, family life remains his top priority. Home is Maryborough, Douglas, where he resides with his wife Caroline and family.

Walsh Consulting stands as an independent financial intermediary regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. With over 20 years of experience, we provide expert financial advice spanning Family & Business Protection, Income Protection, Corporate Benefit Packages, Health Insurance, Pensions, Mortgages, and Savings & Investments. Unaffiliated with any specific providers, we leverage our expertise to secure the best deals for our clients.
Walsh Development
Walsh Development serves as the conduit delivering property products to the market. Managing the entire process from greenfield site to completion, we oversee design, planning, construction, and handover to ensure the highest quality end product. Currently, we are involved in diverse mixed-use schemes at various development and planning stages.
Walsh Private
Walsh Private operates as our Private Equity vehicle, steering investment opportunities in sectors like Health, Leisure, Entertainment, Electronics, Property, and Energy. All ventures under Walsh Private involve active management by senior team members and are structured as partnerships.
Walsh Property
Walsh Property handles real estate matters in Ireland and abroad, both on our behalf and on behalf of clients. From purchase and sale to letting management, we address all aspects of property issues. Recently, our focus has expanded to encompass comprehensive asset management services associated with property.
